Unleashing the power of LoveForce

​

The world is currently experiencing an evolutionary crisis affecting all aspects of our lives. We face not only the challenges of any human existence but also planetary issues of unprecedented scale and severity. Nonetheless, this time of trial is also a time of opportunity. The LoveForce movement, motivated by conscience and love, serves as a potent catalyst for inner development that contributes to systemic enhancement. By advocating for care towards oneself, others, and all living beings, LoveForce fosters a new level of global awareness promoting worldwide harmony, which is the plinth of peace.

The term LoveForce originates from the Sanskrit word satyagraha, which Gandhi used to describe a determined social movement committed to truth. Since Gandhi equated truth with love, when Martin Luther King adopted non-violence in the civil rights movement, he translated satyagraha as "Strength to Love”, which Sofia Stril-Rever named “LoveForce” when she launched the international LoveForce movement with the nomination of 12 young LoveForce Ambassadors on December 10th, 2024.

 

 

LoveForce and the International Day of Conscience

LoveForce aligns with the values of the International Day of Conscience, symbolized by the dove of peace, gliding on the winds of positive change. Powered by its two wings of conscience and love, it signals a new dawn of peace within human hearts everywhere on Earth. The resolution proclaiming the International Day of Conscience—sponsored by the Kingdom of Bahrain and unanimously adopted by the UN General Assembly in 2019—stands as the first global declaration to uplift conscience, guided by love, as a foundational force for peace and leadership in our world.

Conscience—our innate sense of right and wrong at the heart of our shared humanity—acts as a moral compass, guiding our decisions toward the common good through reciprocity and mutual respect. At its foundation lies the timeless wisdom of the Golden Rule: to treat others as we ourselves wish to be treated.

 

What does conscience mean in the life of nations? Conscience made history during the 1945 Nuremberg trials, when prosecutors sentenced Nazi leaders to death, asserting that conscience cannot be abdicated, even under duress. This debate set an international standard for collective ethics and influenced the drafting of the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights, establishing conscience as the mother of human rights and dignity in a world that had betrayed its conscience with the atrocities of World War II.

However, after 80 years, the world still betrays its conscience. Why? Because individually and collectively, our conscience has become disconnected from its inherently loving and caring nature. It is conditioned by narratives, ideologies and values stemming from societies historically dominated by slavery, racism, caste systems, and colonialism. These social imaginaries, although now revoked, continue to influence and structure our collective representations. Their logics of exploitation, domination, and predation rationalize war crimes and normalize a de facto criminal economy, resulting in dire consequences such as a child under 5 dying from starvation every 11 seconds, in a world that has the resources and know-how to feed all its children but lacks the will to care for them. The LoveForce Manifesto for Peace urges uniting conscience and heart to eradicate our human family's severe dysfunctions.

 

 

We are beings of love

​

At the heart of existence pulses the profound and universal force of love, an intrinsic energy that nourishes life. Love is vital. From the moment we entered the world as newborns, physical and emotional interactions with our parents and caregivers were crucial to our survival and growth. Affective reciprocity has shaped the growth of our heart cells, for a human heart can only truly blossom in the presence of another.

Love manifested as care, kindness, gratitude, altruism, inclusiveness, is an expression of active intelligence for humanity’s endurance and fulfillment. Modern anthropology highlights the survival of the kindest, rather than the fittest—a truth now echoed by social and affective neuroscience, which reveals that our brains are naturally wired for

 

altruism, cooperation, and solidarity. At this critical stage in our evolution and while the vital prognosis of humanity is at stake, it is urgent “to inject a new dimension of love into the veins of civilization,” as Rev. Martin Luther King suggested. Embracing love can help unify communities, foster cooperation, and support mental well-being, which are essential for overcoming the current global challenges.

Imagine… just imagine if love, united with conscience—what we call LoveForce—became the very source code of life. Not only guiding our personal journeys, but shaping our relationships, our policies, our economies, and our societies. In such a world, decisions would no longer be driven by fear or self-interest, but by a deep and genuine care for the well-being of all.

 

 

LoveForce:  Cultivating  a  new  humanism  and  multilateral harmony for a peaceful world

Multilateralism is the key to peace without submission. This principle of collaboration among nations emphasizes negotiation, dialogue, mutual respect, and equity to address planetary issues. LoveForce promotes conscience and love, focusing on social justice and human evolution, as the ethical basis for multilateralism. The adoption of LoveForce values by global leadership, in line with the resolution of the International Day of Conscience, would strengthen the moral scope and impact of the United Nations which serves as the strategic heart of multilateralism. On April 7, 2025, Secretary-General Guterres, called the UN to become “even stronger and more effective, tuned to the 21st century”. Indeed, he asserted, "UNO has never been more needed. Our values have never been more relevant. And the needs have never been greater."

LoveForce represents a vital shift in mindset—one that promotes a culture of multilateralism and a humanism for our time. It stands as a bulwark against barbarism, advocating for a world where sustainable development and human dignity should be the norm rather than the exception.

 

A world where everyone should feel valued, and all forms of life honored and respected, aligning with the G20 Indian presidency motto Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, "One Earth, One Family, One Future."

 

LoveForce, an emerging civilization paradigm

LoveForce is a profound truth waiting to be acknowledged. Just as DNA directs the biological evolution of species, LoveForce can guide the evolution of human civilization and redefine the essence of our relationships with ourselves, each other, and the living. Incorporating LoveForce into the core of our existence means recognizing its power to heal, connect, and inspire. It implies that every interaction, every decision, and every policy is fundamentally designed to nurture, protect, and enhance life. It means designing educational systems that foster emotional intelligence, teaching individuals to understand and express conscience and love in all aspects of existence. When LoveForce is embedded in technological advancements, it ensures that innovation serves the greater good, bridging gaps and creating opportunities for all. Love-centric governance promotes economies that prioritize well-being over profit, encouraging sustainable practices that honor the Earth and its inhabitants. It upholds human dignity, justice, and peace, supporting a global community where compassion is the driving force behind every action.

Adopting LoveForce is about embracing a holistic approach to existence, one that aligns our minds, hearts, and actions with the inherent goodness of our caring nature. It is about creating a world where altruism and kindness are not just ideals but lived realities. This is not utopia. It is a pragmatic strategy for systemic change that is already in progress. For the transition to a more conscious and caring world is underway. We may not notice it, as it is ignored by medias in the global culture where ethical conscience is often dismissed and love deemed politically incorrect. Why? Because conscience guided by love promotes addressing the needs of marginalized and oppressed individuals. It challenges entrenched power and privilege systems, following the Leave No One Behind principle from Agenda 2030. This principle was reaffirmed in the 2024 Pact for the Future and during the International Day of Conscience celebrations,

 

initiated at the UN in Geneva in 2023 by Sofia Stril-Rever, in collaboration with foundations, NGOs, and in the esteemed presence of leaders from the UN, UNESCO, and the mayors of Geneva.

 

 

The five LoveForce overarching objectives

The LoveForce Manifesto matches international agreements aimed at conserving nature and resources, improving well-being, and minimizing damage. Key documents include the 2030 Agenda, the 17 SDGs and the Inner Developpment Goals (IDGs) Framework, the Universal Declaration of the Rights of Mother Earth, the UNESCO Youth Program & Collective Healing Initiatives, the Charter of Universal Responsibility, and the Pact for the Future.

The LoveForce Manifesto proposes the use of advanced democracy and collective governance tools and technology to assist partner groups and organizations in maximizing their social impact, focusing on five overarching objectives:

This award shines a spotlight on bold, innovative initiatives across all five continents that promote reconciliation, social and climate justice, and transformative global change. In the spirit of the International Day of Conscience and the principles of the LoveForce Manifesto, the award calls on humanity to evolve— moving from a peace upheld by deterrence and fear to one founded on conscience and love.
